Field Drawing #1 2008

 

Field Drawing #1 - to be made on any lawn, paved or street surface using a carpark/sports field line marking machine by following the instruction manual.

The drawing is designed so that it can be made by anyone interested in making the artwork and maintained by caretakers and gardeners.

On lawn surfaces the work is made with bio-friendly paint and can be left to grow out gradually or can be mown away, on concrete surfaces the drawing can be maintained like the lines of a carpark or be made using temporary surveyors chalk paint.

The lines of the drawing can also be used as a template for a permanent work constructed of other materials.
